In this condition the upper eyelid drops and partially or completely covers the eye.
Symptoms may include:
- difficulty seeing out of one eye
- double vision
Causes may include:
- congenital – present from birth
- nerve damage – either from injury or disease
- muscular dystrophy
- myasthenia gravis
