Hospital Partners With Princeton Photography Club to Open Lakefront Gallery
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJ Hamilton) recently opened a new art gallery in collaboration with the Princeton Photography Club. Lakefront Gallery brings original photographic art to the walls of the hospital, enriching the patient and visitor experience and providing additional creative exposure for local artists.
Developed with the guidance of director Ilya Genin, MD, a Hamilton cardiologist, and curator Sheila Geisler, Lakefront Gallery is dedicated to emerging artists and provides show space at no charge to the artist. The first exhibit, “A Point of View”, begins June 13 and features five full series selected from the works of members of the Princeton Photography Club. An opening reception will be held between 5:30 and 7 p.m.
Lakefront Gallery is organized and managed by Diane Grillo, vice president of marketing and communications at RWJ Hamilton. The gallery space is ADA-accessible and is located on the first floor of the hospital along the mezzanine above the Roma Bank Café. To submit your photographic art for consideration, contact Sheila Geisler, curator, at 732.422.3676 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
