Types of dermatitis include:
- contact dermatitis - rash that results from repeated contact with irritants or contact with allergy-producing substances
- neurodermatitis - chronic itchy skin condition localized to a certain areas of the skin
- seborrheic dermatitis - scalp condition that may cause dandruff
- stasis dermatitis - skin condition that is caused by a buildup of fluid under the skin of the legs
- atopic dermatitis – also known as eczema or atopic eczema, a chronic itchy rash that tends to come and go
- perioral dermatitis - bumpy rash around the mouth
